When you did you realize that you're better off alone?

It hurts me to see this thread and to read the comments from all the woman here who have suffered so much in relationships that they THINK they will be better off living alone than with the comfort of a partners arms around them and a snuggling partner in bed at night.
If you are one of those who suffered, please keep your arms and hearts open for love. It is worth the trouble to get there and enjoy the rewards.

It would be a waste of the purpose in your life, if you gave up on sexual/intimate relationships because you had a bad experience..

@polyandrym66 Some people look for their fulfillment in others, and some look for it within themselves. Until you find your own peace within yourself, you will never be fulfilled.

@4meAndyou I totally agree with you, and would add that you cannot truly help others or love others until you are happy with yourself first.
