Why doesn’t it bother my husband’s mom and dad that their son doesn’t go to church?

I have never seen him to go. He doesn’t want to. Why is that okay with her? And why is acceptable to her for my husband’s dad not to attend church? In fact, she is the only one that goes. 🤐😵🤔
