Hahaha my ex best friend was a selfish bitch. I’m so glad I moved on from her.

@RebornPhoenix Mine ghosted on me as well. I gotta admit it took me a long time to get over her. What she did was cowardly. It made me think I didn’t matter enough to her to deserve her explanation. Some people just come and go. I’ve learned to set my expectations low, so that I won’t be disappointed when a fallout happens.

@SW-User I have 1 who did this to me in real life and 2 on here. I have to say the sw ones hurt far deeper. 😑
Except the worse and hope for the best. I still always look for the good in people. Didn't let it make me cynical or negative

@RebornPhoenix That’s good! 😊 I never let it turn me bitter either. It’s not going to change the past or solve my misery.

Worst case is when your best friend is lying right directly to your face while acting like nothing happened
And some mutual friend feel pity for you so he just told you the truth

@midnightsun Lol age doesn’t equal maturity and I was just joking with you. I’m not 60

@SW-User I know you're 60 don't lie 😏

I still have mixed feelings at the moment. Actually, I still think that we could have been good for each other (as friends), but for some reason they decided to get weird with me and mess everything up. Then again, I suppose they never really cared or they wouldn't have done what they did.
But yeah, I have since met other people who understand things (about me and about life) that they never did. So you have a good point. It's really their loss. They couldn't have handled me anyway.

It’s a gradual process as you get older unfortunately. At least for me that has been the case. The true ones stick around.

I feel your pain. Mine didn't even do that, just straight up spat in my face and didn't even close the door 😂 jokes on her though.

@SW-User for real her loss.

SW-User
@RebornPhoenix Yeah, just wait. If she catches wind then you've not only moved on but made it better, she'll come crawling back to you, so might wanna get ready for drama, or start blocking in advance.

Nah, I just end up alone when I drop off their radar. On the plus side, at least I have an amazing dog now
RebornPhoenix · F
@TinyViolins who needs friends when you have dog tbh
TinyViolins · 36-40, M
@RebornPhoenix I still wouldn't mind some friends. The dog mostly wants to chase rabbits and eat my food
RebornPhoenix · F
@TinyViolins yeah friends are great. Real ones

I did that to a lot of people I used to talk to in person, hope they found other friends tho

MrSimons · 46-50, M
@Abbenthewarwolf I talk to both of you. I didn't realise you knew each other.
Abbenthewarwolf · 18-21, M
