High school was a weird time. What was forbidden then goes out the window as soon as the real world/college comes around. Wearing crumpled clothes, sweatpants, and looking like you just woke up becomes acceptable.

I was a freak in high school. It was one of the worst years of my life to be honest, and the following years afterwards were also really bad.
