After how long would you propose? (not as a joke ofc)

My daughter met her husband online. Started talking in late November—he lived 3 states away—and they were married 4 months later. So far, so good.

My hub asked me 2 weeks after we met. We waited two years, been together since.

At least 6 months, but 2 years is better. And live together for at least 3 months.

@GoldenWorm It takes well over a year to even really know a person .

He proposed 6 months later, and we married the following year. In retrospect I’m glad we didn’t wait.

4-6 years seems about right to think about it.

@CountScrofula how long did Al Wilson take?
@CountScrofula Perhaps it is generational.
MethDozer · M
@bijouxbroussard Takes about 3-5 to really know a person. 6 months to a year you don't even have much of a clue about a person.

Beats wasting the rest of our lives together or wasting our assets in a divorce.
