Has anyone ever told you: 'The day's half over.' When you get out of bed?

It happens to me a lot. Annoys the F out of me. So I managed to sleep in to 0830 on my day off and all of a sudden 'The days half over.' Bullshit. I don't think they know how many hours there are in a day.

No one has ever told me that but if they did, the look on my face would have them rethinking their life choices, later, when they had a moment to themselves, they’d wonder where they went wrong, and if it was too late to turn back.
