The selfishness of others.

I don’t even know....I guess it’s just my nature.

It's proven easier in the short term, people can be shit. Long term is a different story though.

But if being honest, it's selfish. And everyone says it's about other people's BS, but what about our own. Just sayin

Needing to recharge from the first world problems, selfishness, and shallowness of some people. 😔

I'm not a loner. I'm just content with my own company for the most part and don't mind being alone.

I think some label themselves that/choose that because it's self serving in a way. They don't have to commit to others, deal with or face the human of others and in themselves maybe. Not wanting to deal with other human's BS means they don't want to deal with their own, as they are human too and no different, right?

No-one is an island.

I don't think anything enticed me to be a loner. Quite honestly, I wish I had more friends. It's just that people are so exhausting, even the ones I like.

The fact that I can't make a complete fool of myself when alone

I suppose it's because there are very few times when i actually enjoy being part of a group.

Groups are always led by the noisiest/neediest personality. That's a major turn-off for a start.

I rarely drink. So that makes socializing in pubs and clubs fairly redundant.
I'm 130 miles from 'home'. So friends are distant.
117 miles from my 'team' that i follow.
And i'm a carer for my mother so all and all it's something of a 'solo' life.

The safety of it. The ease of not having to interact. The quietness and aloneness soothes me. No expectation. No demands for time.

Disappointment mostly.

In general I would say I am a introvert and likes peace. But real reason is my imperfections and insecurities. I am embarrassed about my imperfections.

Most people I know wanna drink all night or get stoned and I don't have the energy to stay out all night anymore/don't really drink or do drugs anymore.

Not wanting to put up with people’s crap a whole lot. I don’t mind people if they are respectful and not pushy...pushiness stresses me out because I have to be stubborn about things.

If you want something done your way, do it yourself. I am an INTJ, the most introverted on the scale. I got a very fierce sense of independence.

At the moment...I’m still in isolation mode cos mental illness 🤷‍♂️

I think for me it's just the path of least resistance; the way things end up, there's nothing much of a entice to it.

Even when I was a child, I’d go out of my way to be by myself, much to my parents dismay so I guess it’s an innate quality

Part romanticized idea...part all that's in my head...part my hate for being questioned on my actions...

Socializing with people that aren't close friends is very stressful and usually unproductive for me.
I also just like having alone time as well. Especially when I'm working and I have to be around people all day. It ends up being exhausting.
