If you could drastically change a friends viewpoint?

Would you do it, knowing that the truth would cause them pain?

I would judge it on the person. If i felt they could accept it, and would be happier as a result of it, then i would. If not, then i wouldn't ever challenge it, simply out of a need to be right.

Not change it...but offer observations and opinions which might on occassion give them food for thought.

A post i shared recently
' friends can tell us things we wont tell ourselves' its not slways appreciated at the time....but might be in time.
A true friend wouldnt say it with anything other than good intentions

@RubySoo That's a good and true quote, and that's how it should be. A friend should be willing to say something honest in an effort to help, knowing it would annoy or even anger the other person.

@Axelerator its hard to take at times ...even when you know they mean well. But...a friend wouldnt say it unless it needed saying....right?

@RubySoo As long as you know you can trust the friends judgment, which is not always the case, that can be bad as well.
