Yes, it can be amazing if you stick with it and teach yourself to truly relax. You can lucid dream, have outer body experiences, and even astrol projection. Read up on the subject and find what works for you. With practice you can reach a deep meditative state within a few minutes and can even reach that state with noises and distractions around you. It has other benefits as well, can lower your blood pressure, can help reduce stress and your reaction to stressful situations are a few.
