I have lived more times then one in what some might call luxury
My Dad gave up the life of money to live life on his won terms ,,Health issues and divorce robbed me of mine
Dad also broke his back but lived a decent life afterwards
We both were humbled
But I need for nothing now ,my wants are few
I have a family that makes me proud in so many ways and I have peace of mind
When I was loosing everything I thought it was the end of the world ,,not to mention the effects on my ego and pride
But now had I known how it would all turn out
and given the chance to make the choice ,,
I would take my life now
No hesitation

How about comfort and meaning?...Luxury doesn't really appeal to me and I don't deal well with uncertainty. Comfort and meaning can be found in simplicity.

@Axelerator I like nice things just like anyone else, but I just never needed a lot to be happy and content...I was just answering as I have always been from my own experiences.
