From my past it was when I asked my Grandmother how she and my Grandfather (who died when I was 9) had met and she told me the story with a smile of happiness and fond memory on her face.

I know this is silly but many years ago when my parents were still alive we had a cat, and every day I would gently squeeze her paws and she would squeeze back. On the day she died I squeezed her paws to say goodbye and even then she squeezed back. It still remains one of my fondest memories

Grandma complaining about having long toe nails and not being able to do anything about since the nurses took her teeth. 😅 This was followed by her putting her foot in her mouth. 😰
