Not all people are bad so I don't mind being around people in general, and there is one that I definitely want to spend my whole life with. But I also love my dog, and even though he unfortunately won't be around for the rest of my life, there will be others as long as my wife and I are able to care for them. So my answer is both.

@JesseMccC That is really good to know! What we do to these poor creatures...I visited a slaughterhouse back in the 70's...I have not eaten meat or fish since. We do NOT need it to live or to be healthy.

I remember reading that when I was little and crying
It taught me quite early that some humans will always favor money and power over the safety and well-being of anything other then themselves
