Is Facebook creating anti social behavior?

I think Facebook is to blame for the loneliness epidemic.

I don't know if it's the cause necessarily but it certainly can reinforce it. I think anti-social people are more often reinforced by other anti-social people if that makes sense. A lot of times I think people act out in an anti-social manner because they feel that they don't fit in. The envy turns into obsession. Then because of the connective nature of the internet, they run into and group up with other anti-social people who encourage that type of behavior. I'm not claiming that this is how every single anti-social person works or acts, just an observation.

@emptysoul44 Yeah. There is also a disassociation that happens over anonymous communications. It's a double edged sword. On one hand you can focus on strictly ideas without the human element and on the other hand you have people who treat others poorly just because there is that lack of personal responsibility and perceived plausible deniability.
