If a person is sensitive, does that mean that they are weak?

My father constantly calls me weak because at times I could be overly-sensitive. It is really starting to take a toll on my self esteem.

I really wish parents understood the impact they have on their children. Be who you are and if you find you are getting in your own way then decided if you wish to make changes.
