Funny how you can feel so connected to people you don't know
I'm watching this documentary about Queen and even just seeing the other members of Queen talking about Freddie's death and the concert in his memory has me crying my eyes out 😭
It's funny (maybe not funny but you know) how much the death of a celebrity etc can affect you, I remember the same thing when David Bowie, Robin Williams, Alan Rickman, Michael Jackson etc died. It felt like such a personal loss though I suppose that's how it was. With musicians who you grow up listening to there is a real connection there, like I remember dancing with my siblings and parents to Queen and David Bowie, or growing up seeing Alan Rickman as Snape.
It must be such a surreal feeling as a celebrity to know you're having an effect on so many people who you will never know!
