Do you think homophobes assume other people are as bothered by claims of homosexuality as they are? 🤔

It's something that I've encountered many times and it always puzzles the hell out of me, just because something makes you uncomfortable doesn't mean it bothers others. Makes me think they're self-hating closet homosexuals. Just accept it, man, there's nothing wrong with it and you'll feel much more liberated after.

Idk. I have a weird thing where I assume everyone can hear what I hear. So if I'm walking across the room and I can hear my own footsteps or clothes, I assume others can too, even though it doesn't make sense and they may very well not hear it since they're on the complete other side of the room, or even in a different room, and there might be a ton of ambient noise.

@UndeadPrivateer I wear my socks on the hardwood floor for that reason. You get real good at moving things slow and even, and muffling them. I like it when the wind is blowing, or there's rain, or even just dust, since they all can mask or muffle the sounds.

Now I sound obsessed...it's really not that severe! I swear!

@Xuan12 XD That's an especially funny thing to bring up because that symptom I can't recall the name of is also one of the signs of OCD.

@UndeadSona Yeah, I mean it makes logical sense. Why even throw that as an insult unless it's something you personally feel ashamed about?
Hasn’t it been established that homophobes have deep closeted homo erotic issues?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout There have been studies that point in that direction, yeah.
