Why do so many people think that God is related to science?

I can understand religion and stories, but God? It just does not connect with me

@SW-User I don't think God is connected to science. I think it's unscientific to try to talk about god or what he thinks we should do since we have no way of interacting with him or even confirming he's real.

@SW-User I call myself an atheist but the truth of the matter is, I'm just like every other person in the world in that I have no clue what's gonna happen to me when I die, and as much as I wish I did know that, I haven't got any means to ascertain that information without actually dying. And everyone else is the exact same way. So I wanna stay ignorant of what occurs after death as long as I can, considering that means I'm still alive.

@BlueMetalChick I see where you are coming from, and that is true for me, too

Honestly speaking, I just think we don't lead a pointless existence where we live and death means we vanish. Our bodies remain but the wonderous entity known as the mind and life that commandeers this body suddenly doesn't exist anymore is illogical to an extent. There can be more or less to death :p
But we can find and answer if there is one, right?
