Why is it so hard to say I love you?

Not even to a partner, just to a friend or family member, people that I genuinely do love and want them to know it. I find it so hard to say. Yet I constantly tell my pets I love them basically any time they breathe 🤦‍♀️

Most pets love unconditionally.

It’s hard to say I love you when you lack trust in the person who has your love.

@JoeyFoxx Except when my cat has had enough of me and hits me in the face with her paw lol 🤕 but yes, we don't deserve the love our pets give us.
