Why is it so hard to say I love you?

Not even to a partner, just to a friend or family member, people that I genuinely do love and want them to know it. I find it so hard to say. Yet I constantly tell my pets I love them basically any time they breathe 🤦‍♀️

@jaymic64 Like I'm sure that they know, and I want them to, it's just weird I guess. But at least my pets know lol

@shans20 for some people it’s difficult but it doesn’t mean you don’t care. Your actions can say I love you more than saying it.
