Why do Christians not find it offensive that the bible refers to us as sheep, it is symbolically offensive well also true 😂

Poeple are such followers with no thoughts of their own .
Perhaps that's what the bible was trying to tell us .

I don't like it when the metaphor is taken too far and I'm expected to submit to shepherding by self appointed shepherdesses on the basis of their out-of-context rantings or their seniority in the pews.

As a basic metaphor, as in 'the Lord is my shepherd,' I'm ok with it because it's nice and cute and it doesn't give too much license to dominators.
