Why do Christians not find it offensive that the bible refers to us as sheep, it is symbolically offensive well also true 😂

Poeple are such followers with no thoughts of their own .
Perhaps that's what the bible was trying to tell us .

I don't recall the exact chapter and verse, but Christians are actually encouraged to question things.
@JimminyChristmas I’m thinking the nuns skipped that part of the Bible. ☺️

@bijouxbroussard Yeah, that wouldn't work so well with children.😂

I don't like it when the metaphor is taken too far and I'm expected to submit to shepherding by self appointed shepherdesses on the basis of their out-of-context rantings or their seniority in the pews.

As a basic metaphor, as in 'the Lord is my shepherd,' I'm ok with it because it's nice and cute and it doesn't give too much license to dominators.

Because without Him, we are basically sheep with no shepard.

@SW-User I don’t need guidance. I’m doing fine on my own.
@MrBrownstone Why even ask if you are going to be judgmental of others' views???
My thing is: the wolf is demonized for no reason.

I’d rather be a wolf. They work together as a team. They defend each other. Their howls sound way better than sheep noises.

Sheep just eat and scatter while frightened. They’re too cowardice to protect each other.
