I don't believe in depression

I strongly believe that the happiness of others are also your happiness.. this will not let anyone alone be empty.. I agree that depression is a state of too much self centeredness, one constantly feels that others are inadequate of easing one's discomfort. When one is freed from the walls of their selfishness, no one will experience such state of mind.

I like you so I'm going to be amicable about this. I can kinda see where you're coming from since there are people out there who are only feeling sorry for themselves; that or they can easily fix their depression by finding it within themselves but this isn't the case for everyone. For many, depression is something they cannot help, whether its brought upon by experiencing loss and hardships or is something that is caused by a mental/mood disorder. Calling anyone who experiences depression self-centered and selfish is really unfair because it's a statement that simply isn't true for everybody. I can see that your view is firmly rooted in this idea so I doubt anything I say will change your mind but there's my two cents anyway. I just hope you are able to change your mind on this subject someday. Whether you do or not, I hope you at least understand how incendiary your opinion on this is and why you got some of the responses you have here.
