@Fernie I get it sista! They told me I was bi polar once and put me on some meds that MADE me bi polar. It was awful!

@SW-User you were misdiagnosed? When you told them they didn't believe you? Did you just stop taking the meds? I had to do that

@Fernie I immediately stopped taking the meds and then went through one of the worst medication withdrawals I've ever had. But yes, I was misdiagnosed. I have never been bi polar a day in my life. Anxious? Yes. Depressed? Yes. But not manic at all and then swinging into depressed moods.

@SW-User That really sucks!!! I am so sorry THEY put you through that. I at least weaned myself off the drug that was making me feel like my insides were trying to get out..no withdrawals...I can't imagine what you went through.

@Fernie Thanks! I had been seeing a psychologist, and she was a complete idiot.

@SW-User and an idiot shrink managed to finally convince me to take anti=depressants which I am big time ANTI...4 different ones...each worse than the other....I finally told him to stuff them. There are too many idiots out there writing prescriptions Meow!

@Fernie There certainly are! And a lot of the meds have HORRIBLE side effects!

@SW-User I have absolutely NO faith in the medical world or psyche world anymore.

@Fernie :( It's tough when you are so desperate to feel better, only to get jerked around by a doctor trying to make commission off of selling a new drug! I am sorry you went through it!

@SW-User Lets just be grateful that we can't be manipulated anymore...so many just eat the pills without question.
