How do you make someone more comfortable around you?

Read the signals they’re giving off and try to accommodate them accordingly

I think like openly calling each other out lol, makes me feel less self concious of what I say that might secretly offend cos I would be called out for it

@Mildreadful sometimes 😅 but depends I supose.. I'd say I like it rough ;) like getting called a dickhead or something but then I'm like do I REALLLy tho lol, do I reaaaaaallly like being treated like shit, I'm not sure, cos respect is also huge in a relationship, that's why I don't wanna just anyhow call a person a dickhead cos it can be perceived very badly xD and by all means they have the right to get offended, idk mhann idk, how about you? Haha I'd like to know ur thoughts on ya question
@wakanda4eva okay dickhead 😝 I mostly would try to make people comfortable by just being open and easy to read and predict and especially able to laugh at myself when I do something wrong! Like, show that I am comfortable and give no pressure for them to be, and eventually they just will.
And eating messy food is a good one cuz like it’s supposed to be embarrassing to get food everywhere but when you’re in the same situation you can make it a joke

@Mildreadful eyy ya got the tip ;) 😂 yeah definitely agree with ya on that haha, like not having to worry about getting judged on insecurities but better so like being able to share it with em, and relate and just mess around, ur comfortable in that area I'd say 😌

For me, personally, I would DEFINITELY want you to change that profile picture. I got a BAD history with that 😂

@Mildreadful I hope so XD
But I hear that I'm a very open person to be around in general :v
If somebody is uncomfortable with their situation, I would definitely think about what somebody NEEDS to hear and wants to hear as well
Provide them with a comfortable place to sit. Speak in a friendly, caring manner. Listen to them. Offer them food or drinks. Sit close and lean forward. Maintain eye contact. Hug them if they need it. Offer to help them.

Sometimes I find that if you go out for a walk together in the countryside, it can help to make the chat flow.

ask them what makes them comfortable and reflect their suggestions
