How come Barista coffee is so popular these days?

I don't like em. Barista's like to tell you they are Barista's like its something hard to do. But if you think a Barista can make an instant coffee. (1 teaspoon of coffee + Water + dash of milk = Coffee.) Think again!!

Only coffee I ever get from a barista is a cotton candy frap at Starbucks because it’s a pleasant memory with someone who died. It’s a rare treat. Outside of that I don’t bother, too expensive and often either way too bitter or way too sweet.
