How do you deal with rejection?

I was rejected today. In the past I would have let that lead me down road of depression. Today I shrugged it off.

Good.

I mostly stay single now because I don't feel ready again for a relationship, yet. And the fear of rejection sends shards of fear down my spine, reminding me of depression I've had before I don't need now.
