How is it possible the Texas school shooter killed ten people? He didn't have a semiautomatic or an "assault weapon".
I thought those those evil semiautomatics were the cause of this sort of evil. That's what everybody was saying after Parkland.

@BatRinseRepeat Empathy and compassion are important... no doubt. But, it's time to force the issue which could be viewed as being heartless.
Presumably you are talking about empathy and compassion for the victims. But, we also need to exhibit understanding for those (idiots) who think the NRA is interested in something other than selling more guns and still force the issue. Gun control needs to happen. The time is now no matter whose feelings get hurt.
