when it first started I think it was an attempt to get an equal footing with men.
they couldn't vote and there were all manner of social restrictions that we would just shake our head at today.
but like any other movement side agendas get added so feminism doesn't mean one thing anymore.
so when someone says they are a feminist it doesn't mean ONE thing.
but yeah, I had a mom and have a daughter - so I believe in equal rights and fair treatment. and that extends to race, color, weight, height and any other descriptor.
