Do you view feminism as a mean of superiority over men?

Probably not superior to men nor to any sexes but for ourselves as an equal to all human species..

In spite of appearances, Feminism was never about equality.

In the late 60s, it was referred to as the Women's Movement, a name similar to that of the Trades Union Movement and, like a trade union for women, the purpose was to get the best deal possible for females.

But this usually meant fighting causes where women were treated less favourably than men, such as in unequal salaries or job opportunities - so it became confused with a struggle for equality.

We all know of examples in our society where females have an advantage compared to males, but feminism ignores these. In fact, many feminists even campaigned against some, such the equalisation of the retirement age in the UK, and they still encourage shorter prison sentences for females who commit the same crimes as males.

It also explains why the early feminist movement campaigned against men-only clubs yet they supported female-only clubs.

And that's also why they're not interested in promoting domestic abuse shelters for men. Their philosophy is... "if men want them, then it's up to men to do something about it". Which is fair enough, but that's not quite how the struggle for equality works. You don't get to pick and choose.

But feminism is not a fight for gender equality any more than a trade union is a fight for equality between managers and staff. It's about getting the best deal for women. Which is perfectly fine, as long as they're honest about it.

Here's an example of what I mean. This is from a feminist-themed article about being homeless. It only sees homelessness as a problem if you're female - homeless men are ignored.
