At my mother's wake, I saw the face of my recently deceased cousin superimpose itself over the face of her living sister. At my brother's empty house in Michigan, I heard moaning and a sound like a woman being sick at 2 a.m. coming from the bathroom, and my brother had told me the previous owner died in the house.
