Do you believe in population control?

Part of me wants to say no, but in the end there will eventually be A LOT of people we cant accomodate and it kinda seems like a practical solution until we can start colonizing either parts of the world we were previously unable to live in or other planets

Yes been thinking about that off and on through out my life, china has lead the way with it's one child policy... but I do believe nature or "god" will "correct" this problem with a pandemic or massive solar flare, or some other disaster.
We are so dependent on technology, starting with genX but especially mellinals, and the igeneration that it wont take much to collapse or societies..

That being said will we go extinct? no ... 3 rd world countries who are not tech advanced and those social groups (Amish, self sufficient homesteaders and preppers etc.)who do not subscribe or over scribe to technology will inherit the mess that's left...

I agree we will survive, but what quality of life will be have with overpopulation. Not to mention the misery and suffering it will bring to many.@ScabbyHeart

@JimboSaturn hey not saying that there wont be suffering and hardship for Billions... basic biology shows us the population life cycles curves are pretty uniform for most species, bacteria, flies, rats, its all the same... at some point it all collapses and starts again.

Quality of life? ? ? with over population would be terrible of course.. and when that population collapses... very bad. What resources are left?
Clean water, air, soil, oceans?
Why I wont be surprised when some over zealous genetic eco minded scientist decides to make a lethal strain of whatever and releases it upon the earth to provide a "reset" to nature, scary stuff. not my idea of a good time. no bueno
