How do males cope with losing a loved one?

My SO recently lost his grandmother and is in so much pain. I don’t know what to do. He’s pretty much numbed himself to it.

Mine lost his Father in April last year. I mean there isn't much you can do really, but just let them know that you are here for them. It takes time for sure. I wouldn't bring it up, but anytime they openly wanna talk about it and give you that green light go for it!
