Can you not trust (men/women/anyone)?

I wonder sometimes if it's I can't trust XXXX, or if it isn't more that I can't trust myself for fear of hurt. And, if it is indeed myself that I can't trust, how will I ever trust enough to find anyone trustworthy, or heal that which is broken?

It's complicated. Saying we don't trust [i]anyone[/i] closes us to the opportunity to find someone else who can help us.
Sometimes it's what's necessary to heal, to take a step back and not any vulnerabilities. It could be a complicated mix of both. Trust takes time to cultivate at any age, and stage in life.
