Love. I don’t need someone to give me the life I want. I have it already, but love is the greatest of these things.
SW-User
@BlackBarbie1987 Fair enough.

I couldn't say without further detail to be honest...

I would have to see what both lives looked like before I could pick..
SW-User
@SerenitiesScars No I am not tired at all. I can sense you're really worried for your cousin.
SerenitiesScars · 31-35, M
😶 Well I think it's out of my system for now so.. *Hugs!*
SW-User
@SerenitiesScars Good. :) Hugs.
But, in the life I want, there's love. 🤔

The life I want from a person is love, kindness and understanding. I won't look for something beyond that.
SW-User
@BittersweetPotato That is nice.
lostinspice · 51-55, F
This is difficult.
Love can fade and a nice lifestyle helps.
But a nice lifestyle without love is an empty shell.
Love can die and fortunes can be lost.
Love matters more to some of us and circumstances more to others.
Follow your heart and never regret anything. If it doesn't work out take the brave option and remake your life.
SW-User
@lostinspice Well said. :)

Love over life as you can always make a life together with the one who loves you
SW-User
@lostinspice My ex wife cheated on me and whilst it hurt I cant hold her fully responsible. Things werent right, if they were she wouldnt have gone off looking elsewhere.

I did everything around the house and looked after the kids as well as work due to her having an operation on her back. Maybe I gave her too much time to sit on the internet I dont know.

Now looking forward I'm looking for love, I'm not rushing into anything . I have a pretty good life with my own home and car so I'm very much in the love I desire part of my life.
lostinspice · 51-55, F
Love is not sustainable if you don't or no longer have the same life goals. That loveable waster is great at 19 when you're single and kidulting but not so good at 30 when you have kids and bills and can't fix the leaky roof and he's still waiting for that big break that's never coming, when you might desire someone more stable - but later you have more freedom and more security of your own you might choose someone edgier again. Your needs change over your life and not in tandem with your partner always and to say 'till death us do part' when we live so long is probably unrealistic for most.
SW-User
@lostinspice Good points. Thank you.

Love, I can attempt to get the life I want under my own power but self-love is not quite the same.
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Good thinking.
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
The love I desire--by far. I already have the life I want, or I could create it if I didn't. Can't create someone to love me, however.

Love conquers all
SW-User
@Peppa Why do you think people have a throw away attitude now?
Peppa · 31-35, F
@SW-User just what modern society has taught us look at high street fashion. They claim fashion is changing so rapidly but it's not, they then use cheap materials that aren't so durable. They shrink or go out of shape, lose their colour after one wash, you suddenly realise you need to buy more.
This is a endless cycle of high price shit quality.
Human are the same, look the part, say the right things, spend some time with them and before you know it there's no real substance.
Plastic society!
SW-User
@Peppa Unfortunately.
I'm quite content and independent. Love is a nice bonus, its all I could want
labsrock · M
