No, You're born and then you die, everything in the middle is life. And if you're lucky then hopefully you're not born in some armpit part of the world, and you can grew up to maturity without having been raped, beaten, stabbed, shot etc. Though even in the western world that can be tricky.

@Allelse I hear the eastern world has it far worse... especially if it is family orientated..
