I think we all do whether we want to admit it or not. Support religion or support the big bang. I won't get into the flaws in religion, because that will cause all the hardcore religious people to jump down my throat in the comments. But I think the majority of people can agree religion is not perfect.
There's flaws with the big bang also. Like how we don't have a theory to connect quantum mechanics to general relativity. And how we don't understand how all matter and--well everything--was in such a tiny volume before the big bang. We also don't understsnd what sparked life to form.
There's problems with both. But most everyone believes in one or the other.
