I feel that I am not showing my true self. Does that mean I am a narcissist?

I feel like I've created a false self version of myself that I present to the world.

Everyone does that. We all wear a mask to present ourselves to people.

What makes a narcissist is something different. They're usually self absorbed, arrogant, self righteous, and treat other people like shit

@Comet27 I don't expect you to be Ghandi, but honestly because you're concerned about potentially being an asshole that rules out you being narcissistic.

A real narcissist knows it, doesn't care. Or, he/she may just be too self righteous to admit to being one.

@Comet27 You're welcome!

Not necessarily. Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it.

What? Google narcissist.
That's not what it is, i assure you
TestingLimitations · 31-35, M
Trust me, you're not a narcissist

Maybe mild narcissism, but all humans are selfish

Hmm thanks! Is it possible to heal from mild narcissism? I took at a test at psych central, and I scored 20. It says I do have narcissistic tendencies.

If you feel you are not who you are... it means you are still finding yourself
Comet27 · 31-35, M
@MikefromEP Perhaps you are right.
