When a person makes a minor mistake are you ready to pounce call em out on it and make em feel bad?

I teach ,I never try to belittle someone ,unless its over and over .
little things ignored or passed on to others to fix ,when its all the time is not acceptable ,its the little things that are the things that kill
Example ,,power cord on a job site ,,nick in it that all wires show ,but so far its not shorted so it goes on ignored .its just a little nick
But I have a man washing tools in a 5 gal bucket ,,common on a drywall job or a mason job .
He is splashing water everywhere ,,can that nick kill him ?
5 little bolts left out of a lubrication box on a locomotive ,no big deal right ?
Until the wick works all the way out ,the wheel gets cut off from brass intrusion ,and now its a $25.000.00 mistake ,5 bolts
Main line tied up so no other locomotives can pass ,
another locomotive and crew has to be sent to take its place ,
2 crane cars and the crews to run them have to remove the locomotive off the rail ,over 200 tons ,and the damage the huge chunk of metal out of control cost ,it was good that it was in an unpopulated place not at a crossing .
People I pulled dead out of the water had life jackets ,guess where they were ?
So I see teaching others to do things right the first time as life saving .
its always the simple things that cause fires and sink ships ,
but I have seen more then my share of death caused by stupid things ,so maybe I do see demons on door knobs ,,,but I also have saved lots of lives
I was able to save them from their stupid mistakes no one thought was a big deal until it was ,,,
How did I get so wise ?
I have made more then my share of mistakes ,,,I am the one who left the 5 bolts out ,,and was almost killed over a power cord I was told to get off the job

I am happy to ignore most things.
But when someone becomes a persistent mistake maker encroaching in my space, it's no longer something I can ignore.

Ordinarily no but when I moved out I noticed my mum hadn't stopped doing it to me, so I flipped it up and turned the tables on her, her approach was to spend very little time with me and tell me she felt awkward /uncomfortable in my presence for fear of doing something wrong... no shit Sherlock 26years I put up with that and you can't hack it for 2...

People are very defensive these days. They call people out for every small thing. Even on small disagreement. Unless the offense is highly sexual and perverted, those who call out are just seeking for attention. Also, anyone believing in those without listening to the other side are equally guilty.
