It’ll be intimidating to face my own cowardice and selfishness into my own eyes, but there is no hiding from the truth so I’ll look to see what lies behind the shroud of fear.

@Ghauzy I'm finding it interesting to see the answers here. At the risk of being offensive (and I'm certainly not trying to be) I'm seeing the younger generations instantly and without hesitation, saying "YES. I would look" while the more mature generations, such as myself, are admitting to at least some trepidation about possibly seeing some traits which maybe we've been fighting against our whole lives....hmmm....interesting right?

That’s indeed an interesting observation. Younger folks might have the bravado to think they need to face anything and they need to be stronger than anything while older folks may have a long line trying to distance from the parts of themselves they never liked and grow more uncomfortable with as time goes by.

On the other hand, you also can find some mature folks that have accepted as they are, faults and all.

Btw, no worries... no offense taken. 😉

@ImpeccablyImperfect Hmmm you definitely aren't wrong about younger people seeming more willing to see themselves. Possibly because most of us don't realize what we are actually going to see. I know for me personally, I want to see what needs to change in myself.
