There is such a thing -- but they can sometimes be difficult to get.
First, find someone who loves you.
Second, look into his eyes.

@ImpeccablyImperfect Thanks.

@RealtaReoite That's a beautiful thought.
RealtaReoite · 61-69, M
@SmartKat Thanks, FavoriteKat. Why don't you give it a try sometime soon?
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
Yes, and here is the image

@HoraceGreenley Jackhole! I knew I wasn't the only one!
my character is very complex...... the good, the bad, and the weird, so the reflection would be interesting to say the least.

Yes...no reason to hide anything especially from yourself.
SweetDreamsRubi · 31-35, F
yea why not.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
Yes, I would....it would be interesting to see what the image would look like.
lost213 · 46-50, M
Sure why not after all if you don't know who you are then how are you suppose to be yourself?🤔
RoadieJay · 61-69, M
I think there would be some things that are hard to look at if I'm honest
megrose · 56-60, F
Sobering question. Not sure I can even answer it
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
@megrose hmmm....I suppose, even just knowing that we would hesitate to look could be enough to make some changes, right?
....and I'm not saying you would hesitate, just speaking in general.

Some changes are really hard to make. It's nice to be able to plead ignorance. You look in that mirror and every excuse is gone.
SmartKat · 61-69, F
It would probably make me prettier than a regular mirror. Definitely taller. So, yes.

SW-User
Yes because sometimes I need a new teacher
SpaceAce · 31-35, M
sure (see's nothing) as I suspected
goagainsttheflow · 31-35, F
Yeah. I wanna see the good, the bad, and the ugly.

SW-User
Character can be forged, so sure.
Ghauzy · 51-55, M
It’ll be intimidating to face my own cowardice and selfishness into my own eyes, but there is no hiding from the truth so I’ll look to see what lies behind the shroud of fear.
Ghauzy · 51-55, M
That’s indeed an interesting observation. Younger folks might have the bravado to think they need to face anything and they need to be stronger than anything while older folks may have a long line trying to distance from the parts of themselves they never liked and grow more uncomfortable with as time goes by.
On the other hand, you also can find some mature folks that have accepted as they are, faults and all.

Btw, no worries... no offense taken. 😉

SW-User
@ImpeccablyImperfect Hmmm you definitely aren't wrong about younger people seeming more willing to see themselves. Possibly because most of us don't realize what we are actually going to see. I know for me personally, I want to see what needs to change in myself.

SW-User
Yes
I think I know what I'll see
