What do you really see when you look at yourself?

I see the flaws and the beauty. But a reflection can only be seen but it can't make a sound, or smell, and if I touch a mirror I can't feel my own skin. Just cold glass. All a reflection can do is stand their and mimic me. I could spend hours in the mirror trying to alter my image but it wouldn't change who I am on the inside. I'm more than just an image but I wouldn't be able to see that just by looking at myself

Like most women, I see all my flaws first. Then I look harder, and I can see my strength, my wisdom, my caring, nurturing, affectionate nature and the flaws seem to blur.

Or maybe I'm just going cross eyed and the blurring is from eye strain.
Who knows?

Just an ordinary woman who is living her life trying the best she can do.

somebody that has all these thoughts buried deep within, that want to get out but can't.

My scars, my flaws, my failures, some ray of light at times, which becomes dim many times the hope of my tomorrow!

I see myself. I make sure to let myself know I love me out loud while looking in the mirror. I used to be really mean to myself that's why I do it.

Every one of my failings.. But I'm trying to change that

Usually strength. Sometimes weakness. Occasionally good hair. Not too often someone I'm physically attracted to.

I don't like looking at myself that much, to be honest. Most of the time I see nothing but flaws.

Messy hair. lol No matter how many times I comb them correctly, wind takes them places.
