fernie2 First let me say I in no way condone the violence of any sort against girls and women, but I equally don't condone violence against men and boys either or against any gender etc.
I also think it is quite unnecessary for it to be portrayed in films,Tv etc as often as it is and as graphicaly as it is.
The answer to that is not to go see or watch it.
It feeds the problem to a point where people begin to think it is an acceptable way to behave.
But as a woman you also have responsibility, as to how you portray yourself as to how you will be perceived. While what you choose to wear shouldn't actually matter it does, once again a big thank you to media, TV, films etc certain dress styles are highly sexually exploited as being what motivated the murders, rapes etc.
