How do you nicely tell someone to take their personal conversation out of your post?

I mean it's okay for a bit but when it goes on and on and you keep getting notifications endlessly, it's a tad of a nuisance.

That's when you delete the thread 😈

@SW-User If you ever do delete a post, you should post this before you do.

SW-User
@Neiromatheous LOL. Okay.
Neiromatheous · 31-35, M
@SW-User You'd be a legend if you do.
SW-User
For me it's an honor that someone would do that on a post of mine, would just check in there and read, or forget all about it. When i delete a post it's never to do with what others do, it is rather not wanting what i put there to be there anymore.
SW-User
@SW-User LOL.
SW-User
@SW-User Often it's sickly sweet, arse-licking revoltingness.
SW-User
@SW-User YES, lol! Ugh!

Netiquette is something people have either forgotten or ignore. It is poor manners to hijack someone else's post, for example, changing topics, having long conversations with other commenters, posting similar pictures or videos and in general taking attention away from the original topic or poster.
I usually ignore these because in the end, it brings attention to the thread by second or third hand...but it's still annoying, as if someone interrupts your conversation.

@Giana Thank you!

@SW-User 👍 You're welcome :)

I have actually written, 'please can you take this to PM' before. Especially if they start having a general conversation that's nothing to do with the question.
SW-User
@SW-User I've wanted to ask this before but each time I remember it's because I'm irritated again and it's too obvious who I'm talking about. 😂
SW-User
@SW-User LOL. Ah same. I guess I am too sleep deprived and therefore easily annoyed to care right now. I might remember this later and cringe. 😅
SW-User
@SW-User Ok fine reiceved and understood
SW-User
You don't have to... There is an icon to press that says "stop"
SW-User
@SW-User As you get a message from the thread, it's there
SW-User
@SW-User That one takes away responses from the whole post, not just the particular conversation.
SW-User
@SW-User As it relates to that thread I believe that's what it stops. But you could just delete the whole thread or turn off notifications for the time being
SW-User
Stop hijacking my thread bro!
