If you were to move on to something that really matters today, what would you be moving on to?

I'd move on from universities since they have become a cesspool of propaganda and social engineering instead of a place students are confronted and shocked by a variety of different ideas and opinions.

One of my goals in life is to continue learning different skills so I can start offering apprenticeships to people willing to actually learn and become useful to society.
SW-User
@SW-User I find that very interesting. How committed are you to making this a reality?
SW-User
@SW-User I already help people willing to help themselves as much as I can.

One of my favourite quotes concerning life is (paraphrased) "Those willing to learn will always find a teacher."

To freedom & peace of mind.

I have to share a house with an alcoholic, gambling ex-husband until I can afford somewhere safe for me & my dogs.
SW-User
@ShonaV I hope that happens soon for you.

Thank you.

I'd probably say teaching or something. Like for example, educating people on nutrition. How to prevent those nasty diseases rather than educating them after its attacked them.
SW-User
@Howaboutno I personally think nutrition should be a mandatory topic in schools. There is so little known of this, most children set themselves in a trap of diseases.

@SW-User yes that's something I agree with too! It's not something seen as important to us. When it's what matters most. However, I am so proud of the youngsters that are inspired by vegans, vegetarians or whatever. They really make a difference. They follow through and are doing quite well
A sanctuary for abandoned or abused animals pared with a wholistic farm.
SW-User
@Coyotedave611 I recently visited such a sanctuary and it made my heart bleed. If you can do something for them, that would indeed be extremely noble.
@SW-User I love the heroic you tube video's of folks who respect and dedicate themselves for the caring of all of these beautiful creatures.
SW-User
@Coyotedave611 A lot of these animals are severely abused and the intelligent ones, like chimps exhibit signs of PTSD. Imagine how hard it is to handle them. So yeah some people have true love of animals and dedicate their lives to this cause.

Work, probably. ᶘ ͡°ᴥ͡ °ᶅ/
SW-User
@bearinthebigbluehouse Ah then, find a way out of that kind of thinking that paralyses your life. :)
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@SW-User Well.... Bear is on waiting list for doctor people...... That oughta do something. ┬┴┬┴┤•ᴥ•ʔ/ Shh shh shhh!! Irrelevant!! Your story is more traumatizing!! REST!!!
SW-User
@bearinthebigbluehouse 👀 Don't wait for doctors! I refused to see a therapist because I don't feel comfortable talking to a stranger, even a professional one, lol. I read up on PTSD, as much as I could and deal with it myself. So until you get to see your doctor, help yourself.

I am already on something that matters today but if I had the flexibility, I would like to go back to where I grew up and be a teacher.
SW-User
@Equanimous You would be an amazing teacher.

@SW-User :) You are a good friend. Thank you.
