I never tell anyone I have borderline personality disorder.

Why? I don't need people judging me or thinking I'm crazy. I don't need a slew of questions aimed at me either. I don't want to be treated differently or tip toed around. It's just easier to keep it to myself.

Those who would make fun of you or make jokes about you or to you, would be very insensitive and ignorant. I'm so sorry you suffer from this. You are loved, no matter what condition you are in. ❤🤗 And you have a right to share. We are here for you.

You need to tell only a few whom you trust that they would e a help in any trouble you face.
My younger son is ADHD, but borderline.

A lot of people probably wouldn't fully understand even if you did tell them. Might as well keep it to yourself until someone who really cares about you and who you are is in your lffe.

@minxy My family knows and my closest friends and partner know. That's it.

They were probably figure it out sooner or later

@pripyatamusementpark It does come out in my behavior sometimes. Especially the isolate and withdraw bit. I also get paranoid a lot and think oh they're being weird towards me they hate me or i did something wrong. I have been known to go from happy as a clam to empty the next moment. My empty depressed periods last much longer than my happy highs.
