I stood alone
On a craggy cliff
High above waters
Crashing against shores
Wind raged around me
Pulling my hair wild, loose
Feet firmly planted
Keeping my balance
Spoke your name
In my thoughts
Called your name
From my lips
I have seen you
In my dreams
I have known you
Before in time
All the imagery
All the words
You could be mine.

@Jungleman No one is forced to read every post here, for that there is the possibility to scroll further while keeping disrespectful words to yourself. And no, this has nothing to do with free speech. This would have been the case if you used kind words to say you didn't like the poem.

@RobinPhoenix Thank you for your defense. Rarely does anyone diss my poetry. There is always someone disagreeable here. I know about him. I scanned his profile. I have rebuttals of truth should he return, Robin, do not trouble yourself further. So much unpleasantness here today. We can spin it better. I am working on some poetry today. I will post when they are finished.
