Do Philosophers look at things differently?

Yes they do. And mostly their conclusions make a lot of sense like Alan Watts here

Used to love philosophy courses in college because there are no correct answers, everything is a point of view, and you can argue both sides and never come to any resolution.

@ChipmunkErnie I wish I could have studied both Philosophy and Psychology. Amazing subjects. What do you say?

@xbandoleerx Took Psychology, too. Interesting, but in some ways like philosophy because SO much -- at least 50 years ago -- seemed solely up to the interpretation of the psychologists beliefs and POV. For instance, back then the course I took considered Freud totally disproven and outdated and useful only in criticizing literature/fiction that was written based on Freudian beliefs.

@ChipmunkErnie Yes I can understand that it was not as advanced and in the process of evolving. Very interesting! So what did you do and how did it benefit you in your life?

@xbandoleerx It didn;t benefit my life at all. But it was interesting because it made one think. Also, loved finding out that Wilhelm Reich was the only associate of Freud's who Freud thought was too obessessed with sex -- so Reich went out and scammed people with his "orgon box" -- the mystic pyramid power of its day.
