Do Philosophers look at things differently?

Yes they do. And mostly their conclusions make a lot of sense like Alan Watts here

Reminds me of the first two of Buddha's Four Noble Truths. Life is suffering. Suffering is caused by desire.

@hunkalove wish you could share the remaining two for us here
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@xbandoleerx The third is that there is a way out of this suffering. The fourth is the Eightfold Path. Google it, too long to post here. Quite a bit of it resembles the Ten Commandments.
They look at the same stuff as we do with objectivity and analytic mind.

@xbandoleerx Alls' good, Brother. Enjoy blissful Married life where there are all possibilities to reflect over life's little truths. All that is needed is the - Mindset.

@Lyfis2live Thanks, All is ok. No worries.

Used to love philosophy courses in college because there are no correct answers, everything is a point of view, and you can argue both sides and never come to any resolution.

@ChipmunkErnie Yes I can understand that it was not as advanced and in the process of evolving. Very interesting! So what did you do and how did it benefit you in your life?
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@xbandoleerx It didn;t benefit my life at all. But it was interesting because it made one think. Also, loved finding out that Wilhelm Reich was the only associate of Freud's who Freud thought was too obessessed with sex -- so Reich went out and scammed people with his "orgon box" -- the mystic pyramid power of its day.

@ChipmunkErnie oh the Prisoner of sex
JustNik · 51-55, F
I think he explains it very clearly though. I know I could apply this directly to what I’ve lived and seen and feel the truth of it. He does have a knack.

@JustNik My honest opinion about this passage: it is an interesting way to look at things so as to feeling blissful & content.
