Lots of feelings today
Humans are primates. We are stupid and violent and dumb sometimes and we are creative and intelligent and loving sometimes. All of us, with no exceptions. I wish more people were more honest about that, it would be refreshing.
Some people are clearly more broken than others but that is what it is when a person is perceived as evil, it is not inherent evil of being but a broken mind and low awareness.
Authenticity is rare.
For example, Miss Rachel. She is an angel and I love her. But not because I think she is “good” or not capable of harm. It’s because she comes off as authentic to me, as someone who genuinely cares and isn’t thinking about herself and isn’t trying to be seen as “someone who is good”. She is just someone who sees harm being done and she wants to stop that harm. She doesn’t victimise herself, she doesn’t pretend like she’s better than anyone.
Doing a helpful or compassionate thing does not make you “good” and doing a harmful thing does not make you bad. You are who you are and that fundamental state of being doesn’t change, there aren’t different versions of it.
We are not free to make mistakes in this world. Because we are punished instead of educated and healed, and we are never truly forgiven. People hold grudges and become vindictive, and to me that’s equal to actively causing harm.
