Well said. Each "love" of our life has been brought to us for a purpose. Maybe to learn from, or to expose weaknesses you need to address in yourself or to demonstrate that your heart can be broken but eventually repaired. Some people are fortunate to find "the one" right away but, for most, the journey is much longer and for many, never fully completed.
dlubsp · 18-21, F
@Peek4U I completely agree. Each person we love carries a lesson, whether it’s growth, healing, or the strength to keep going after heartbreak. Love isn’t just about finding the one — it’s about what we learn on the way there.

that's not a soulmate, soul mates are predestine people and sometimes they meet. Believing in soulmates it magical and has to do with the highest admiration of a divine and pure feeling of encounter. People want soul mates but they themselves are depraved. Better yet if your soul mate is poor will you take him? if not you don't want a soulmate because soulmates are people who reflect from each other like two birds flying on the wild.

@RisingMorningStar7 I see what you mean about soulmates being like puzzle pieces that fit perfectly, but I wonder — isn’t that a bit idealistic? Even the strongest bonds face challenges, and sometimes what makes a connection truly powerful isn’t how effortlessly it fits, but how both souls choose to grow together through the imperfections. If everything were too easy, would it really test the depth of love?
RisingMorningStar7 · 36-40, M
@dlubsp is better to enjoy a soccer game with someone who enjoys as well or someone who doesn't it. I don't believe love is idealistic, people called idealistic what they can't achieve. You can find real soulmate stories online. Like about a woman who saw a guy she fell in love for and crossing path again in the park. To be into soulmates their has to be a sense of purity and love in higher dimension invoking the divine. if such things are magical it will invoke a invisible force I used to called it the universe.
dlubsp · 18-21, F
@RisingMorningStar7 I agree that sharing common ground can make a bond feel effortless, like watching a soccer game with someone who loves it too. But isn’t the depth of love proven when it extends beyond shared hobbies or surface-level compatibility? If soulmates are truly divine, then they shouldn’t just mirror our preferences — they should challenge us, transform us, and sometimes even come in forms we don’t expect. To say that love must always be pure, easy, and magical risks ignoring the reality that even the strongest connections require growth, patience, and sometimes struggle. Otherwise, what you call a soulmate might simply be comfort, not transformation. If soulmates only feel easy and perfect, then that’s comfort, not love — real soulmates transform you, and transformation is never effortless.

Soulmates are not about the "happily ever after" they're made out to be.
RisingMorningStar7 · 36-40, M
@StarLily but they are just read the idea of soulmate where they come from. The problem with soulmates is that how can a adultery believe in soul mates, soulmates are for the purest of individuals. I guarantee 99.9% of people will never be with a soulmate. If someone encounter just in case a woman he only saw once who is not related that he barely knows and encounter her a second time living 15 miles or 45 miles away that will be closer to what a soulmate is.
StarLily · 51-55, F
@RisingMorningStar7 Then I would fall into your .1% I guess. It was a profound experience that was a catalyst for spiritual growth, not for happily ever after. I would agree that it is indeed rare.

@StarLily so your mate was your soul mate?
